Myles Erlick and Jack Broderick are headed to the Broadway cast of Billy Elliot as Billy and Michael, respectively. Erlick is set to replace Giuseppe Bausilio, who will play his final performance as Billy on October 9. Broderick replaces Neil McCaffrey, who will play his final performance on September 25. The 10-time Tony-winning musical continues its run at the Imperial Theatre.
Erlick, a 13-year-old native of Burlington, Ontario, was one of the original Billys in the Toronto production. He will become the 15th Billy to perform on Broadway. Broderick previously played the role of Michael in both the Chicago and Toronto productions of the show. He has appeared in Peter Pan at Paper Mill Playhouse and in the national tour of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
The Broadway company of Billy Elliot currently stars Emily Skinner (Mrs. Wilkinson); Daniel Jenkins (Dad); Katherine McGrath (Grandma); Patrick Mulvey (Tony); McCaffrey and Cameron Clifford (Michael); and Bausilio, Tade Biesinger, Joseph Harrington and Peter Mazurowski (Billy).
